Special Features

Periodically, we will post a piece about a place on or around North Haven. Places are important on many levels and North Haven is rich with special ones. They can include working waterfronts, old and new farms, intact habitat, a salt marsh, an historic village, a unique stand of trees, a cherished view or an abandoned trail – to name a few. Each has a story and each is part of the character of North Haven.

Just as important are people whose tireless efforts have helped make this a wonderful place to live, work and play. With the help of local authors we will occasionally profile these neighbors and friends – some who still grace Main Street and others who are with us in spirit.
